States United Election Protection
What It Is: A policy hub from the States United Democracy Center providing legal, research, policy, and communications support to the state officials — governors, attorneys general, secretaries of state, and law enforcement — who administer and protect elections, including a "Sharing the Facts" resource library and original polling.
Why It Matters: The polling behind the initiative shows broad consensus across typical divides: 93% of Americans agree election workers should be protected from threats and harassment, and 74% believe it's more important to count every legal vote than for their preferred candidate to win. That consensus reflects Responsibility b) — supporting effective, transparent, and accountable civic institutions — at a moment when state election officials face increasing pressure.
How to Use It: Use the Sharing the Facts resource library and polling data to inform internal communications about election administration, particularly if your company is considering a statement on election worker safety or election integrity ahead of the midterms.
