The CPR Hub is pleased to spotlight Integrity Matters, a new initiative from the Truman Center for National Policy, as a dynamic resource for small business owners committed to principled action in public affairs. Small businesses often face disproportionate risk when democratic processes falter, from arbitrary regulatory changes to broken government contracts and loss of rule-of-law protections.
Integrity Matters provides tools, education, and networks that help these leaders act in support of a “functioning, stable democracy to protect our business investments and free enterprise,” recognizing that doing so supports long-term value creation for all. As Integrity Matters explains, “...when the rules break, we can’t plan for our businesses, investment slows, and we suffer the cost.” Integrity Matters is focused on the ideas that:
- Rules Protect Livelihoods. Markets need fairness and predictability. Chaos kills growth.
- Trusted Messengers. Small business owners are the neighbors everyone believes.
- Prepared Communities. We give you tools to act before a crisis hits.
