Andrew Hoffman is the Holcim (US) Professor of Sustainable Enterprise at the University of Michigan; a position that holds joint appointments in the Stephen M. Ross School of Business and the School for Environment and Sustainability. He has published over one-hundred articles/book chapters and nineteen books, which have been translated into six languages, on the topics of business, sustainability and climate change. His more recent work - Business School and the Noble Purpose of the Market (2025) and Management as a Calling (2021) - is focused on the rejuvenation of business education to cultivate the kinds of leaders we need for our 21st century challenges.
