Welcoming Adam Pratt to the CPR Hub Board of Advisors

We are delighted to welcome Adam Pratt to The CPR Hub Board of Advisors – an incredible group of business, academic, and civil society leaders with diverse views, who model the Third Side and provide input on The CPR Hub’s editorial strategy.

Adam Pratt serves as the Director of Issues & Policy Communications at IBM, where he leads communications that advance IBM's global advocacy agenda, focusing on responsible practices and ethical standards within the company, and public policy relevant to clients and society as a whole. Notably in this role, Pratt led the conceptualization and launch of the IBM Policy Lab, a unique thought leadership initiative intended to refocus policy makers’ energy and attention on critical technology-related issues impacting our society.

As an award-winning communications executive, Adam Pratt holds nearly two decades of experience leading high-impact campaigns at the intersection of business, policy, and public trust. Adam specializes in crisis and issues management, strategic communications planning, and executive counsel.

In 2020, Adam was named to PR Week’s 40 Under 40 list of professionals driving the future of the PR and communications industry with an expansive career that includes experience in the telecommunications, transportation and energy industries.

Adam also contributed his expertise as a member of the Erb Institute's Corporate Political Responsibility Taskforce. In particular, he was instrumental in proposing that the Erb Principles for CPR include a Legitimacy Principle, and a pause to ensure an authentic basis for any corporate engagement. We look forward to his practical advice on how companies can take a principled, responsible approach to their public affairs.
